Sitting among the grasses near the pond, somewhere Pond Fiend would be entering or exiting the water ways, there is a little woven basket with a chunk of old rotted log sitting in it... no--not just rotted, it's got the telltale signs of mycelia growing inside it--though it hasn't fruited into any mushrooms yet.

Along with that he'll find a little woven pouch that's been lightly charmed to resist water, containing a little illustrated slip of paper that reads "Tenderhearted Telegrams" as well as a couple letters. They read:]
